Summary
Japanese Language Tools is designed to work without collecting personal data. There are no accounts, no advertising trackers, and the text you submit is never permanently stored.
Text you submit
When you use a conversion tool, the text you enter is sent to our server, processed in memory to produce the result, and returned to you. It is not written to a database, not used for training, and not shared with third parties. Standard server logs record request metadata (timestamp, path, status code, response time) for debugging and abuse prevention — they do not include the text you submit.
Cookies and local storage
We do not use cookies. Your light/dark theme preference is saved in your browser's local storage and never leaves your device.
Analytics
We currently use no analytics service. If we adopt one in the future, it will be a privacy-respecting, aggregate-only service that cannot read the text you submit, and this policy will be updated before it is enabled.
Third-party services
The site is served through a hosting provider, which may process your IP address as part of normal request handling. No data is sold or shared for marketing purposes.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page will be updated. Material changes will be noted on the homepage.
