About Japanese Language Tools
What is this site?
Japanese Language Tools is a collection of free, browser-based utilities for reading, writing, and studying Japanese. Every tool runs instantly, requires no account, and has no usage limits.
Why we built it
Learners, translators, and developers working with Japanese text constantly need small conversions — adding furigana to unfamiliar kanji, switching between kana scripts, transliterating to romaji, or counting characters for a form limit. Existing options are often ad-heavy, slow, or split across many sites. We wanted one fast, clean, privacy-respecting place for all of them.
